I'm a rotten housekeeper. To be honest, I think the only solution is to get a cleaner. But I'm going to have one last try. I've spent an hour tidying up today. The tidying is required before *anyone* attempts cleaning whether that might be me or a cleaner or someone I drag in off the street.
The kitchen is looking not bad. The situation in there isn't helped by the dishwasher being broken and me hating washing dishes. But I've washed a sinkfull and have put other items to soak so I don't need to scrub quite so hard.
Then I went into the living room. It still looks like a storeroom, all full of boxes. But it's been picked up. The hall is OKish and I made a start on the bedroom before the timer pinged and I could stop without feeling guilty. Because I've *tried* and that has to count for something.
I will endeavour to do the same again tomorrow.

This post has me chuckling thanks for the honest reminder, but still trying to out do the previous days cleaning is a good challenge to do. Have a good one, I am visiting via the Home Keepers Challenge.
I'm not sure "house cleaner" and "mother" are meant to be jobs to be done simultaneously! I find I spend more time tidying and never getting to the deep cleaning, either! Hopefully this challenge will help us all brainstorm new ways to get things done!
