I've tried learning Bible verses before and I've even blogged about it here in the past. But today I discovered that there's a Memory Verse challenge right here in BlogLand over at The Power of Your Love.
Here's the verse for this week in the New Living Translation (as that's the Bible I most like to use):
Psalm 92:1 (New Living Translation)
1 It is good to give thanks to the Lord,
to sing praises to the Most High.

This is something that I've been called to for quite a long time, and the accountability helps me quite a lot!!
You can use whatever version you like--I personally prefer NIV, but I was gifted the "Embracing the Word" Cards which are NASB--52 cards--52 weeks--worked out perfectly.
